Working on a Changing Table
This past weekend most of my D-Group guys were able to visit. On Saturday, they helped me build a great Changing Table for my new baby boy that is about to be born. We started from a pile of rough cut lumber and finished assembly by the end of the day. We had a lot of fun, though it was hard work. Today, I put on the first coat (of probably 4 coats) of stain. My wife, Regina, loves it!
Finishing up Micah’s Crib
I am finishing up the baby’s crib. The rails (sides) and mattress support are completely finished. I just have to finish the ends.
Moving to WordPress
I am moving my site to WordPress from Google Sites (Gibson’s Workbench). I like Google Sites in a lot of ways, especially since you have a great amount of control over theme customization. However, Google Analytics doesn’t work as well as WordPress’ statistics, which are live-fed. If only theme customization was free on WordPress, then it would be great! WordPress also has exposure to search engines, which it doesn’t seem like Google Sites has.
